Our fist check point will be at Roadside station Shiotsukaido Ajikama-no-sato 道の駅 塩津海道・あぢかまの里. A welcome oasis before we head up our climbing section. Over Yokonami Park. We will have lunch there. 🍙 🍙 🥪🥪🍏🍎🍌 the next section will be amazing as we make our way south down the lake through the gravel roads and into the lake side campground ⛺️. Our next stop is a oddity but definitely worth a photograph or two 海津迎賓館 (Golden Gate Guesthouse) 🏯. Up at the crack of dawn 🌞we will see the sun rise over Biwako and the beautiful Shirahige Shrine Tori ⛩️. The point of interest is a photo stop on Biwako Bridge shortly afterwards we will stop at the Biwako sign. Heading north we will stop at Myotokuryuo Shrine. From this point we will cut in to the interior via a cycling path to the historical Hachiman-bori Moat. Stopping here for a noodle 🍜 lunch.
